Idukki

Sprawling over an area of 5061 Sq. Km., the district of Idukki is marked by undulating hills and valleys. Munnar is a beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 metres above sea level. The town is situated at the confluence of the three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. There are lakes, reservoirs, forests and several tea estates. Anamudi, the highest peak in south India is close to this place.

Wayanad Wildlife Reserve

Medics Away organises three day tours (2 nights and 3 days) to Wayanad on every alternative day. Tours start from Cochin by luxury coach or car (depending on the numbers travelling) and two nights stay in 60 year old homely bungalow. The best time to visit the park is between the months of June to October. You can expect to have a wildlife tours inside the sanctuary and a night safari out side the sanctuary during your stay. Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca , the cradle of the Incan civilization, and the origin of the Inca Empire is the largest lake on the South American continent and one of its highest (at about 3810 m/12,500 ft above sea level). The tour includes a visit to both Puno and Copacabana, and to the island of Amantani, the Uros Floating islands and the islands of Sun and Moon. This 5 day tour is a must. Afterwards, Either continue on to La Paz and the Salt Flats of Uyuni, or cross back into Peru and return to Cusco.
