Electives
A medical elective is an opportunity to participate and observe medical practice in overseas locations, as well as helping to develop their own medical skills. An overseas Medical Elective can be both a rewarding and an exciting experience.
The Medics Away electives include: all Accommodation, a Hospital Rotation, Airport Pickup & Orientation, a Discovery Trip, a Medical Kit, a Local Representative and a full range of Activity Breaks. Medics Away does not provide international flights.
There is also the service of the Medics Away to consider before, during and even after your elective. This service includes: International Flight advice; Visa and Vaccination advice; Personal, Hospital & University Confirmation Letters; an Elective Portfolio; a Travel Health Manual; a Risk Assessment and a Student Overlap Document (currently provided via email on registering with Medics Away)
